Spring is here! Corcoran Park is excited to be offering several fun spring classes and to help you plan your summer!
- Corcoran Cubs preschool’s spring session will begin April 9th and go thru May 30th.
Class meets at the park on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 10am – 3pm. Program costs $432 for the session. Program is for kids 3 – 5 years old. Program participants must bring their own lunch and be able to go to the bathroom independently.
- Track and Field begins at the end of April, weather permitting.
We will be practicing Monday and Tuesday nights at Roosevelt High School from 5:30 – 6:30pm and meets will be on Thursday nights from 6 – 9pm. Ages 8 and up, cost is $35/athlete.

- Minneapolis Institute of Art (Artist in Residence)
Join MIA artists in creating art related to the 2019 theme, trees! The goal is to create takeaway art, as well as contribute to a cumulative project for the end of summer exhibition at MIA. Ages 17 and under, cost is FREE. Program is July 22nd – 26th from 2-4pm.
- Music lessons
Corcoran Park offers private and semi-private music lessons for musicians of any skill level and age. Cost varies depending on level of instruction.
- Harry Potter Camp
Have you wished to be a part of the Harry Potter universe? Well now is your chance! We will watch Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and go over the first book. We will try several treats from the world of Harry Potter and play Qudditch. Ages: 6 to 12. Price: $10. Date: July 29th – August 1st Time: 1:30-4:30 p.m.

- Animal Camp
Do you love animals? Well this is the camp for you! Come and join us and learn all about different animals; from mammals and reptiles, to birds and amphibians. We will talk about our favorite domesticated animals, and our favorite wild animals. We will have two visits from our certified Park Board Naturalist with two different animal guests and a visit from the Raptor Center. The Raptor Center will be bringing an owl, a hawk, a raptor, and a Bald Eagle!
