Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly’s building mural honoring elders in our community is soon to be completed, and we want you to help us celebrate!
Please join us for the dedication of our mural, which was masterfully designed by local artist Elissa Cedarleaf Dahl, and made possible by a grant from the Lake Street Council.
The mural, covers the entire north side of our brick building facing East Lake Street and celebrates older adults in our community! We believe this is a unique subject matter and shines the light on an often overlooked demographic – older adults who have contributed to building our community but who, in many cases, are now isolated, lonely and at risk.
LBFE elder friends, staff and volunteers, as well as our neighbors, local business members and community leaders, will come together to mark this joyous occasion. We hope you will be there, too! No RSVP is needed.
