Executive Corner: Dec 2019 – Jan 2020

Corcoran Neighborhood Friends and Family,

2020 marks a major milestone – Corcoran Neighborhood Organization will be celebrating 45 years of serving our community! We are proud of our evolution from a small community group in 1975 into the multi-faceted neighborhood development organization we are today. Midtown Farmers a key program of work continues to showcase local agriculture, prepared foods, and artisans and crafters while providing an opportunity for Corcoran residents and business owners to discover regionally grown foods. We are able to do what we do because of supporters like you! Throughout 2020, we will celebrate milestones, highlight Corcoran Neighborhood Organization, and share our vision for the next 45 years as we look to continue to grow.
Below is my update from the December Corcoran Connector.

2020 is a big year in our City for a ton of reasons here are two: 2020 Census and 2020 Elections.

primary since 1992, please make sure you’re registered to vote and if you have question feel free to
reach out to me in the office or check the City of Minneapolis website, more information to come!

February 6, 2020 we will be hosting a small and home-based business networking event for people in
Corcoran, Central and Powderhorn Neighborhoods, if you run, own or operate a small business
please save the date February 6, 2020 at Corcoran Office!

Also don’t forget we have started collecting books for the annual CNO Book Sale in March 2020.
